Wall Decal FAQs
1. Unsuitable Wall Surfaces for Decal Adhesion Decals will not adhere properly when applied to the following surfaces:

-Freshly Painted Walls: Walls painted within the last 30 to 90 days. The paint requires time to fully cure;

-Chalking or Flaking Walls: Walls that leave a fine, powdery residue when touched (often due to age or poor paint quality). The decal will adhere to the powder, not the wall, causing it to detach.

-Wallpaper and Fabric Walls: Most standard wallpapers and textile-backed wall coverings. Their textures, seams, and porous nature prevent secure, lasting adhesion.

-Porous or Rough Materials: Surfaces such as Diatomaceous Earth, unfinished/bare concrete, or heavily textured plaster (stucco).

-Highly Uneven Surfaces: Any surface that is not perfectly smooth and flat.

2. Is the decal reusable or repositionable after installation? No. We strongly recommend against removing and repositioning the decal once it has been installed. Attempting to do so may stretch the material, compromise the adhesive's strength, and can potentially damage the underlying paint.

3. Can I write on this decal with crayons? No. This decal is specifically designed for use with chalk only. Using crayons, markers, or any other permanent writing instruments will stain the surface and make it impossible to clean.

4. Is the decal magnetic? Yes, the material is magnetic-receptive. However, you must ensure that the magnets used are strong enough to penetrate the decal material and securely hold any heavy items you wish to display.
