Free-standing pegboard

You don't drill it. You wheel it.

0Holes in your wall
  • Stands on its own, on an A-frame foot at each end
  • Rolls between rooms, then brakes and stays where you put it
  • Open on both sides, so two children can build at once
  • Nothing to patch when you move out

Putting a pegboard on the wall means a drill, a stud finder and a decision that stays put. Sometimes that is exactly what you want, and our WonderWall tiles are built for it. This board is for every other case.

It matters most if you rent — no anchors, no landlord, no filling holes on the way out. In a classroom or a clinic it means the board goes where the session is, rather than where somebody once drilled.

Good to know

It arrives flat and goes together in five steps with the screws provided. One adult, indoors.

What fits the holes

The sets it was built to hold.

Every hole is 15 mm, the size our own peg sets are cut to. Each set is bought on its own — this is the board they go on.

Choosing a board

On the wall, or on wheels.

Read to the bottom of any JoyKids peg set and you will find the same sentence: peg boards and storage box are not included. It is on the Beads, the Crazy Track, the Domino, the Gears and the Pipe Game. The sets are bought on their own, and the board is a separate decision — so there are two of them to choose from.

WonderWall goes on the wall, in 48 cm tiles you add to over time — a few for a bedroom, twelve or more for a childcare room. Choose it when the wall is yours and you want the surface to keep growing.

This one never touches the wall. One panel, on castors, open on both faces. Choose it when you rent, when the room has to change use during the day, or when you would rather the board followed the children than the other way round.
