Why a front-facing bookshelf?
- Easy access: Covers face out at kid height, so children can see and reach their own books — less floor clutter, fewer "can you get it down for me" moments.
- Built for rotation: Three tiers hold up to 150 books. Swap the selection each month and the same shelf feels brand new.
- Covers do the choosing: Toddlers pick by picture, not by spine. Facing the covers out is what turns a shelf into something they actually browse.
- Independence, not tidying: A book goes back as easily as it comes out, so putting away stays part of the play.
- Fits smaller walls: At 95cm high and 120cm wide, JORY 3 suits nurseries, reading corners and shared rooms where the 5-tier is too tall.

Sized from real books
We measured the books first, so you don't have to.
How many books it holds
Up to 150 books
Hold the whole collection at once, or use it as a rotating shelf. We'd rotate — swapping the books each week keeps the covers new, and lets the subject follow whatever she/he is into.

Choosing a finish
Raw wood, varnished or white?
Varnished
A slightly glossy coat that deepens the grain and resists water, stains and everyday wear. Wipes clean.
Pick this for easy cleaning and a sleek, polished look.Raw wood
Matte and bare, with the grain showing, no knots. No protective layer, so it marks more easily in a humid room.
Pick this to keep it natural — or to paint or stain it yourself.White
The same solid pine under an opaque white coat, so the grain is covered rather than deepened. Wipes clean like the varnish.
Pick this for the shelf to disappear into a white wall.
