Description

A single front-facing wall shelf in solid pine — 80 cm wide, 18 cm tall and only 12 cm deep, for the strip of wall a bookcase can never use.

It hangs two ways. With the opening at the top it holds a row of books face-out, low enough that a child sees the covers and picks her own. Turn it over, opening at the bottom, and the same shelf becomes a small wall-mounted rail — tomorrow's outfit, a dressing-up cape, a bag by the door.

Holds up to 8 kg. Solid pinewood with a non-toxic finish and rounded edges. Wall fixing kit included, for plasterboard or a stud. Designed in Melbourne.

Holds up to 8 kg. Fix it to the wall before anything goes on it. Children pull on shelves, and anchoring is what makes that a non-event. Adult assembly. Keep the screws and fittings away from children until the shelf is built.

How much wall have you got?

JORY W1 — one tier

80 cm wide and 18 cm tall. A single strip of shelf — a few books face-out, and not much else.

Pick the W1 when there is one gap to fill.

JORY W2 — two tiers

The same 80 cm wide, 48.5 cm tall. Twice the shelf, and it hangs either way up: front-facing shelf one way, clothes rail the other.

Pick the W2 when there is a bit more wall to use.
