1. Is this set compatible with my existing Duplo baseplate?
Yes! The gears and pegs are specifically designed to be compatible with Duplo baseplate. Joykids Double Sided Board (Duplo) & Magicplate (Duplo)

2. Are the gears easy for children to turn?
Absolutely. We have engineered the gears to have a smooth rotation. Once the pegs are snapped into the board, the gears slide over them easily.

3. Can the pegs be used to create patterns without the gears?
Yes! With over 940 pegs in multiple vibrant colors, children often use them as "mosaic art" pieces. They can build pictures, spell out their names, or create colorful borders around their gear systems, making it a dual-purpose toy for both engineering and art.
