Unsuitable Wall Conditions for Decal Adhesion Decals:

*Newly Painted or Non-Cured Walls: Surfaces painted within the last 30-90 days, as the paint may peel off upon removal.

*Deteriorated or Chalking Walls: Walls that shed a fine, powdery residue upon touch (due to age or poor paint quality).

*Standard and Fabric-Backed Wall Coverings: Most wallpapers and textile-backed wall coverings, as their seams, textures, and fibrous nature prevent proper adhesion.

*Porous or Rough Materials: Surfaces like Diatomaceous Earth (Diatom Mud), bare concrete, or heavily textured plaster.

*Highly Uneven Surfaces: Any surface that is not smooth and flat.

"Wash & Wear" or Silicone-Based Paints: Many modern Australian paints (like Dulux Wash & Wear) contain Teflon or Silicone to repel stains. These also repel adhesive. If your wall has this finish, the decal may not stick properly without a dedicated primer (e.g., Viponds Prep Coat).

1. Unsuitable Wall Conditions for Decal Adhesion Decals will not adhere properly when applied to the following surfaces:

*Newly Painted or Non-Cured Walls: Surfaces painted within the last 30-90 days

*Deteriorated or Chalking Walls: Walls that shed a fine, powdery residue upon touch (due to age or poor paint quality).

*Standard and Fabric-Backed Wall Coverings: Most wallpapers and textile-backed wall coverings, as their seams, textures, and fibrous nature prevent proper adhesion.

2. Is the decal repositionable after installation? No. We strongly advise against removing and repositioning the decal once it has been installed, as this may stretch the material, compromise the adhesive, and can damage paint upon removal.

3. Can I use crayons on this decal? No. This decal is designed for use with chalk only. Using crayons, markers, or other permanent writing instruments will stain the surface and make it impossible to clean.

4. Is the decal magnetic? Yes, the material is receptive to magnets. However, please ensure the magnets used are strong enough to penetrate the decal material and securely hold any heavy items you wish to display.
